Ottawa Outdoor and Adventure Travel Show Giveaway

The Adventure Stage will be host to 18 speakers on topics as varied as Ultra long distance races, to bike maintenance.  Everest, to family canoeing in Kilarney.

Get Creative this March Break

Spaces still available at Museum's half-day craft workshops

The Goulbourn Museum is offering three half-day craft workshops during March Break. The workshops are geared to children ages 6-11 and will take place on Tuesday, March 17, Wednesday, March 18, and Thursday, March 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Kids can sign up for all three or just for one.

Each morning offers a fresh new theme!
  • Tuesday: Use buttons & fabric to transform colourful gloves into "Little Monsters"
  • Wednesday: Make a personalized piece of "Letter Art" using pattern and colour
  • Thursday: Convert an ordinary flower pot into a "Spy Garden" featuring a secret compartment!

Every day from 10am to 2pm Hazeldean Mall will have carnival games set up in the food court for everyone to take part in. Collect stamps by playing games, get 4 stamps and pick a prize from the prize box. In addition to the games Hazeldean Mall will also have various entertainers everyday throughout the week.

March Break Craft Workshops

Three unique crafting experiences to keep creative kids smiling

The Goulbourn Museum (2064 Huntley in Stittsville) is offering three craft workshops during March Break. The workshops are geared to children ages 6-11 and will run on Tuesday, March 17, Wednesday, March 18, and Thursday, March 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Kids can sign up for all three or just for one.

At the Tuesday workshop children will make “Little Monsters” out of colourful mittens. On Wednesday they will use colour and patterns to produce a one-of-a-kind piece of "Letter Art", and on Thursday kids will pretend to be spies as they convert an ordinary flower pot into their very own "Spy Garden” featuring a secret compartment!
