Carleton University Office for Chemistry Outreach (CUOCO) presents:
7th ANNUAL CHEMISTRY MAGIC SHOW & ACTIVITY CENTRE:
at Carleton Saturday, March 1, 2014!!!
Age 4 and up and the cost is FREE (they are accepting donations of cash or non perishable food)
Magic Show : 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Theatre B in the basement of Southam Hall .
(Arrive early for seats, if the theatre is full you can watch nearby on a large screen)
Please be aware that there are some loud noises during the show.
Hands-On Activity Centre : 930-430pm in The Superlab on the 2nd floor of the Steacie Building. Make ice cream with liquid nitrogen, make slime and miniature Olympic medals, learn about what makes things smell, as well as the chemistry of wine and chocolate. You can also see how some of the magic tricks were done.
