Tooth Fairy Day

February 28th is Tooth Fairy Day!!

Here is a cute craft you can make with your little ones...

Tooth Fairy Pillow

Materials

• Scissors
• White felt
• Marker
• Embroidery needle
• 1/4 yard favorite soft fabric
• Pins
• White thread
• Loose batting

Directions

1. Trace shape of tooth onto white felt with a marker, and cut shape from felt.
2. Cut two pieces of 9-by-9-inch fabric and pin tooth in center of one piece.
3. Hand-stitch around the edge of the tooth with white thread, leaving the top open so the tooth becomes a pocket.
4. Place 2 pieces of fabric face side in. Pin in place. Sew pieces together around edges with a 1/4-inch seam allowance, leaving a 4-inch opening for turning right side out.
5. Trim corners of seam allowance and turn right side out. Stuff with batting and hand-stitch opening closed.
