Bring your camera for a fun, Valentine-themed photo shoot with family and friends. Make your own customized photo props in the Studio, as you choose and cut out special Valentine’s Day templates, then decorate them with colours, glitter and more. Strike a silly pose — or 20 — at different locations in the Canadian Children’s Museum, using our exhibits as backdrops. Cook up some funny faces in the Kids’ Café, play Cupid at the Crossroads, make a scene in the Theatre, and be picture-perfect in front of the Pyramid. After you’re done, send your fabulous photos to loved ones for Valentine’s Day.

The venue is just a hop, skip and a jump from the canal and Confederation Park, where many Winterlude activities take place. So why not make a day of it?! Go skating, take in the ice sculptures, and then come in out of the cold to enjoy the local talent!

The museum is serving up a special seasonal Sunday brunch series that is sure to stimulate the appetite—for both food and knowledge.

Savour a delicious buffet brunch of assorted meats, salads, cheeses, pastries and desserts. Then, stroll through the museum's fascinating galleries that reveal Canada's amazing natural history.

Nature Brunches are offered on select dates throughout the year. Look forward to a unique theme each time with a special menu prepared by the museum's Chef William Carter of Gourmet Cuisine.
