Harvest Festival

ByWard Market Harvest Festival

55 ByWard Market Square
Ottawa, Ontario, K1N 9C3
T: (613) 562-3325

ByWard Market Harvest
Bringing the best of the season to Ottawa since 1826
Autumn in Ottawa conjures images of flashing oranges, reds, and yellows, and brings a crispness to the air that has an aroma of piping hot soups and ciders, and sweet freshly-picked apples. The ByWard Market has been bringing the fall harvest to the very core of the city every year since 1826, and this year it’s going to be big. Like, really big.
Join us from October 17-19 for a three day celebration with fun stuff to do for the whole family. We begin with a street party at 55 ByWard Market Square on Friday night, Oct. 17, then really get things amped up with a food & drink show on York Street on Saturday and Sunday. Celebrity Chef Lynn Crawford will be taking part in the festivities on Saturday at the food & drink show, and will be offering a food demo, a book signing, and will be mingling with the crowds and food vendors to talk about all things harvest in the Market.
Families will be kept busy with live musicians, wagon rides, bilingual book readings from the Ottawa Public Library on Saturday and Sunday, and historical tours from Haunted Walks on Sunday. With no shortage of free family entertainment, the ByWard Market Harvest has something for everyone, and everyone will find their favourite something to do. The ByWard Market will be the only place to be the entire weekend!
