“The Snow Queen” is a dance show performed by the dance group “La Fantaisie”, based on Hans Christian Andersen’s famous fairytale.

Don’t miss out on this new and exciting show, presented to you by Montreal’s “La Vie En Mouvement”, a dance-theatre. It is a modern interpretation of “The Snow Queen” fairytale, that combines various styles of dance, unique musical montages, and captivating animations on screen.

Based on Andersen’s story, the performance will take you through the adventures of two best friends, Kai and Gerda. These brave children show no fear in their struggle to defeat the Snow Queen, evil and powerful, who is determined to turn the world into an ice kingdom.

The show is presented by the “La Fantaisie” dance group, with more than 100 dancers from ages 3 to 18, who will perform more than 25 choreographies in different styles, such as jazz, modern, tap, disco, latin and hip-hop.

Come and be amazed by the hundreds of fantastic costumes, magnificent works of art and exciting music. This performance will be a magical experience for the whole family and children of all ages.
