Lansdowne Park is a world-class attraction that blends modern amenities, courtyards, heritage buildings and green space. This urban public destination, situated right in the heart of city, will be programmed by the City of Ottawa on a year-round basis. It features events and activities for all ages and all seasons.

Aberdeen Pavilion

 

The historic Aberdeen Pavilion is a seasonal indoor facility with capacity for 2,800 visitors and an Ottawa landmark.

Aberdeen Square

 

This new functional space for events will also be home to a farmers’ market.

 Children’s Play Area

 

The Children’s Play Area provides a colourful and dynamic play space for younger children and is fully accessible.

 Civic Gardens and Heirloom Orchard

 

Visitors can take in the natural backdrop of the floral plants and trees for impromptu outings, like family picnics. 

Courtyards

Enjoy a scenic stroll through the East and South Courts, which also offer additional space for outdoor performances and festivals.

Great Lawn, Hill and Water Plaza

These great outdoor spaces have a combined capacity of up to 17,000 people for festivals and seasonal activities. There’s plenty of space to relax on an everyday basis.

Horticulture Building

Another one of Lansdowne’s heritage buildings, the Horticulture Building is being revitalized as a public space for special events and community use.

Skating Court

Ottawa’s newest refrigerated outdoor skating rink can be used for a variety of winter and summer activities.

The Shops at Lansdowne

Starting late this fall, Lansdowne’s commercial development will open. This mixed-use area includes 280 residential units and 360,000 sq. ft of commercial space, including a new 10 screen movie theatre.
