Who says the combination of history and math can’t
be fun for young learners? Our Decimal Detectives series brings the two
together to explore local heritage, the community’s development, and the
natural world. How do we do that? For the young campers topics include patterns
and mapping, simple shapes, currency and counting, and measuring. For older
kids, we look at geometry, patterns, and measuring angles. Solving mysteries,
building models of the museum, and making their own maps are just part of the
fun! Cost:
$6/participant
