Meet the author, Jennifer Perlin, and illustrator, Jay Lutes. Their book will be available for sale at the event.
Discover and read a children’s story (Konrad, I Will Find You) as you walk along a nature trail. Awaken your child’s literacy while remaining active. All ages are welcome, including babies and toddlers (the trail is a paved path – very stroller friendly). The activity will run rain or shine.
Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and snack. There is a splash pad, playground and tot lot on site, as well as picnic tables and checker boards. There will be lots of time for you to read the book while following the trail and then enjoy the facilities afterward.
Note that the walk is on, rain or shine. I know many of you will wait and see what the weather is like. There’s no minimum or maximum limit on the number of participants and no age limit either; bring your friends!
