Calling all Super Heroes, Princesses and Space Creatures!

We need your help to complete our Family 1km Mission being held at the CHEO BBQ on June 14th, 2014! The Mission, should you choose to accept it, will start at 10:00 a.m. and will be led by some of your favourite Super Heroes from The League of Superheroes! Make sure to come in full Superhero, Princess, or any other costume you may have, rain or shine, and stay to enjoy the activities in theFamily Zone and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch.

The objective of this mission is to spend quality time with fellow Super Heroes and enjoy the great outdoors with your family and friends. All proceeds from this mission will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

Come out in costume and be a CHEO Super Hero! Taking part in this special event will contribute to the advancement of health and research facilities for children in our community!

Family Zone

The Family Fun Zone, is a designated area for parents to bring their children on the day of the CHEO BBQ. The Family Fun Zone hosts a series of entertainers, organized games and crafts to keep children busy and engaged!

This year we have included premium activities for our guests’ enjoyment, including hair-styling from Hair Republic, face-painting or unlimited use of the bouncy castle. You can enjoy all of these activities for $5.

Families can also enjoy performances from Radical Science, Little Ray’s Reptiles and Yaki along with crafts, coloring, bubbles and beading.

Family Fun Zone – Schedule on June 14, 2014:

Radical Science – 11:00 a.m.
Yaki – 12:00 p.m.
Little Ray’s Reptiles – 1:00 p.m.
