Petals and Pioneers @ Gatineau Park


Petals and Pioneers
Come discover new things about Gatineau Park! Take an evening walk on the Lauriault Trail with an experienced naturalist.
  • Discover the Park’s plants and wildlife, and learn how to identify wildflowers.
  • Learn about the Park’s protected habitats and ecosystems, including the Eardley Escarpment.
  • Get acquainted with some of the Park’s early residents and cottagers like the Lauriault and Mulvihill families. Some of the Park’s natural features were named after these families.
This is a walk on hilly terrain. Appropriate footwear and a headlamp or flashlight are recommended.
This Friends of Gatineau Park activity is for persons aged 10 and older. Reservations are required.
