Earth Day terra 20

Kids will love the fun activities that will teach them a few small ways that we can all make a difference.

• Color on plantable seed paper, which is produced by a local Ottawa woman. Once the warm weather arrives, plant the paper and watch it grow;

• Meet the wiggly hungry composting worms, and learn about the many ways that composting is good for the environment- and you;

• Non-toxic mini-manicures that will get everyone thinking about the harmful chemicals in our everyday personal care products;

• Healthy and delicious snacks, with food preparation demonstrations by the National Capital Vegetarian Association;

• Visit the upcycling education station, where you will learn the stories behind some of terra20's most innovative and waste-reducing brands and products.

Get the whole family thinking—and acting—green!
