Earth Hour takes place 830-930pm (local time) on March 29th. Join millions of people who will turn off their lights for one hour to raise awareness for the planet.
- The Green party is hosting a candlelight vigil on Parliament Hill for Earth Hour again this year - this is becoming quite the tradition! Lights out at 8:30 so arrive a bit early. They are handing out beeswax candles on a first-come first-candled basis.
- Stargazers of all ages enjoy an evening of astronomy at the Science and Technology Museum’s Helen Sawyer Hogg Observatory. Weather permitting, visitors can look through the historic 15-inch telescope at the stars, the planets, and the Moon. Dress warmly, event takes place outside.
