  • Bytown Museum
    • Saturday March 1 to Sunday March 16: March Break Drop-in Family activities, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily
    • Discover Ottawa’s best kept secrets thorough exhibition by using handy tools, historic toys and story telling along the way. You can also try the ever popular Postcard Scavenger Hunt. Collect them all and create your very own timeline of Ottawa’s history! 
  • Canada Agriculture and Food Museum
    • Saturday March 1 to Sunday March 16: Barnyard Break, 930 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily
    • A Fascinating Barnyard March Break Foodology. Demonstrations from Bread Chemistry, toEggsperiments to Taffy-ology: The Science of Maple Taffy Making. 
  • Canada Aviation and Space Museum
    • Saturday March 1 - to Sunday March 16, 10 a.m. to  5p.m.
    • March Break is all about Helicopters! Explore them through workshops, crafts and demonstrations. Also, 23rd Annual LEGO Contest - Bring in your aviation-inspired LEGO creation for a chance to win great prizes! Register in advance

    • From magic shows to story telling, crafts to building there is a lot of facinating science experiments going on this March Break.
  • Canadian Museum of History & Children’s Museum
    • Saturday March 1 to Sunday March 16, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m
    • Snonovation- an ode to snow, with taffy making, building igloos, crafts and many demonstrations. Don't forget the IMAX.
  • Canadian Museum of Nature
    • Saturday March 1 to Sunday March 16, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • FrogsPenguins and Monsters, try out all the activities, including frog calls, origami, frog drawing and crafts. There will also be time for a  3D movies featuring penguins or flying monsters!
