City of Ottawa Before and After School Programs

One of the most important things to me, is if my children are not with me, I need to feel confident that they are having fun, and safe. The other issue what to do with them when there is no school. Unlikely that you can take all the time off.  There are lots of great options, but one I came across was the City of Ottawa, they have great options for before and after school care, as well as March Break, PD Days etc. Check it out here
Staff: qualified and enthusiastic!

Start and end the school day with fun! Get active with games and sports and be creative with arts and crafts. Some quiet time for homework, too. Make new friends when you join our Club. City of Ottawa is an accredited HIGH FIVE® organization. Who commit to healthy child development and safety for children's recreation programs. Choose quality for your kids!

HIGH FIVE® is Canada’s only quality assurance standard for organizations providing recreation and sport programs to children aged 6 to 12.
The Ontario Ministry of Education is implementing the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA), which has replaced the Day Nurseries Act.
Effective September 1, 2017, the following changes will come into effect:
The City of Ottawa is only permitted to offer before or after school programs to children 6 to 12 years of age, including children who will be turning 6 years old by December 31, 2017. The City of Ottawa is only permitted to provide a child with EITHER before OR after school care. We are not able to provide both services to the same child. For a list of locations click here.
