We had the pleasure of visiting Brockville for a day trip last week, and I can't wait to go back. Brockville is such a great little town jam packed with fun activities.
We spent our day at the Brockville Aquatarium and this is a great family experience for all ages.
We started at this super cool Globe that gives Nautical distance between major cities etc. We had such a fun time comparing all the distances, funny what ends up being a highlight to a trip!
Next we spent time playing in the water table area, build using pipes, gears and locks to guide the water along the way. (this was a hit, they could have stayed here all day... husband included!)
We then moved on to the Green Screen, make a weather person video with props or be park of the Aquatarium Times, this is then sent to you by email (free).
The list of interactive activities goes on and on! Touch tank, Rope Course and Aquadrop (40 feet!), Control an underwater Robot, Come have a "fish eye view" (pop up in the middle of the the crawl tunnels), rowing stimulators, Sands alive bins, dig sites, Fish feeding at the Aquaria, board games and more!!
Have you ever been in a wind wall? Tons of fans creating a huge wind tunnel to guide your boat just like out at sea, it's harder than you think!
On the 4th level, check out the spectacular view of the Water and the Tall ships, and practice driving your own boat in this awesome boat simulator, I'm not gonna lie, I spent some time driving in circles while laughing hysterically.
One of our highlights was the Otter Feeding, watch the Otters frolic and play while they come for lunch.
You could easily spend the whole day exploring and playing at the awesome attraction. We packed a picnic lunch and headed over to nearby park, watching the boats and having a quick walk on the boardwalk and returned to the aquarium after lunch .
On our way home we stopped for some Ice Cream and day complete!
