Westfest 2015

June 13-14th

Westfest is 10 city blocks in Westboro Village, Ottawa, closed to traffic for the entire weekend June 13 and 14, 2015!

Check out our New Domicile Main Stage location in front of the Clocktower Brew pub at 418 Richmond Road and enjoy our Community stage, Youth stage and Westfest Lit stages all along Richmond Road between McRae and Berkley avenues.

Experience something for everyone with our Scotiabank kidzone, the Morris Home Team jumping zone, endless programming on all corners and dozens of extended restaurant patios, licensed spaces, food trucks, destination shopping, and buskers abound!

Everyone is welcome and all activities are free, so bring your kids, your grandparents, your pooch and we'll see you "On the Street" at Westfest!

  • CommunityStage The "Three Wild Women Are Oh So Good" Community StageThe "Three Wild Women Are Oh So Good" Community Stage Located across from and sponsored by Three Wild Women and Oh So Good Desserts, at Athlone and Richmond Road, featuring a variety of music, dance, and drama acts from the Ottawa area.

  • YouthStage The Germotte "You’ve Been Framed" Youth StageThe Germotte "You’ve Been Framed" Youth Stage Located on Winona Avenue at Richmond Road, next to and sponsored by Germotte Framing, featuring local teen bands and solo artists. Organized for and by youth!


  • World's Greatest Balloons-World's Greatest Balloons has been entertaining children and adults alike for over five years now in the Ottawa area. We create one of a kind custom balloon creations, ranging from basic balloon animals to princess dolls and superheroes.


  • Fantasy Face Painting-Fantasy Face Painting artist Melissa has over 15 years experience as a professional children’s face painter. She has been featured at numerous festivals, has attended face & body painting conventions, and has had private lessons with some of the best International face & body painters that there are.   • The Ottawa Gymnastics Centre The Ottawa Gymnastics Centre Established in 1960, the Ottawa Gymnastics Centre is the oldest operating not-for-profit gymnastics organization in Canada.The Ottawa Gymnastics Centre will be “On the Street” at Westfest with lots of program information and giveaways! Bring your kids to try out some Gymnastics with our certified coaches. June 13th and 14th from 10:30am - 5:00pm. www.ottawagymnasticscentre.ca


  • Porchview Dances, The Canada Dance Festival presents Porchview Dances an innovative community dance event directed by Karen & Allen Kaeja.Performed by local residents in the front yards, porches and courtyards of their own homes - Porch View Dances engages real people, in real time, in real spaces. Audiences will be guided from house to house through Westboro, watching the stories of the neighbourhood unfold.


  • The Roaming Diva. The Roaming Diva is pleased to be returning to Westfest this year! The unique Stilt-Styled Songstress brings her beautiful vocals and very long legs to the festivities!


  • The OAG Art Tent is a mobile art studio that travels to festivals and community events throughout the warmer months. The tent provides a friendly, free, and bilingual space for adults and kids of all ages to explore their creativity.
