The Coolest Event On Earth comes to Ottawa's Britannia Beach on New Years Day.
The Sears Great Canadian Chill is bringing back the traditional polar bear dip. Participants will rush into the icy cold waters to #EndKidsCancer!
In addition to the traditional dip, the Chill includes family fun activities, entertainment, crazy costumes and prizes for top fundraisers.

The cost for registering in the event is $25. In addition, we encourage you to fundraise, however there is no minimum fundraising amount. You must be at least 12 years old to participate.
Accept the challenge and take the polar bear plunge that Stops Kids Cancer Cold! Funds raised will be allocated by the Sears Canada Charitable Foundation to support local and national pediatric oncology initiatives. The Ottawa Chill is in support of CHEO -- Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
