Cool off this summer with outdoor pools!


You can now beat the heat in Ottawa's outdoor pools. All outdoor pools are open as of June 14th. To see a list of outdoor pool, their locations and their amenities click HERE. Admission fees can be seen HERE

Wading pools open on either June 20, June 27 or July 2 and are FREE to use. Hours of operation vary. For a list of wading pools and their hours of operation click HERE.Come join our team in fun-filled water activities as part of the Waterplay program! This program uses fun and interactive games and learn-to-swim activities to offer a basic instruction in necessary water skills that can be used continuously throughout life. This is an excellent opportunity for children to have fun at the wading pools while also building foundational swimming skills and learning water safety. Waterplay is an informal program available to the public free of charge at all wading pools across the city.Join us for summer fun at one of our 56 wading pools across the City.

All wading pools will hold a speacial event. All special events are held from 11 am to 4 pm, featuring arts and crafts, games, prizes, and lots of time to stay cool in the pool! Some events feature special guest activities a free barbecue lunch and a Lunchtime Performing Art Series performance between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. Click HERE for an event near you!
Park-ticipate

Program runs weekdays from June 30 to August 22, 2014The Park-ticipate program is a free, informal drop-in program offered by the Bob MacQuarrie Recreation Complex-Orléans and Seasonal Recreation at various local, rural, and urban parks throughout East/West Ottawa. Children aged 4 to 10 are invited to join our highly trained Recreation staff in this fun-filled program of crafts, games and sports. For a list of locations click HERE
