The Kanata Lakes Community Association will hold its annual Winterfest at Whalen Park, next to All Saints Catholic High School, on Sunday, Feb. 16.
The event will run from 1 to 3 p.m., and will feature a bonfire, skating at the rink, activities for the whole family, a tug of war with Ottawa firefighters (and tours of their fire truck), hot chocolate, hot apple cider, treats, face-painting, and more.
Entry into Winterfest is free for members of the Kanata Lakes Community Association.
If you don't have a membership, you can renew or purchase for just $10 for the entire family. Membership grants free entry into other community association events throughout the year, as well.
The community association invites residents to come out and make the most of the snowy season this Family Day weekend.
