Arm Knitting Workshop for Teens & Tweens Sunday, February 22 from 1- 3 p.m.
Arm knitting is a new trend that's all the rage in the fiber arts field. It's fast and easy (no knitting needles required!) and the results are gorgeous. We held a free adult workshop in January and it was so popular that we've decided to offer a free workshop for youth ages 10 and up. (Parents, you are welcome to participate too!)
Participants will learn how to make a scarf and will be able to wear it when they leave! All you need to bring is yarn with "Super Bulky (6)" on the label. If you want to make a cowl scarf bring one ball of yarn, if you want a longer, infinity style scarf, bring two balls of yarn. That’s it! *If you would rather purchase yarn at the workshop, you can do so for $5 (cash or cheque only). Just let us know ahead of time.
The workshop is from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, February 22 in the Goulbourn Museum.Light refreshments will be served. For more information or to register please call 613-831-2393 or email education@goulbournmuseum.ca.
